In my blog post, Reflecting on #CLMOOC 2015, I strongly recommended the CLMOOC experience and hoped that my overview of experiences and lessons would inspire others to participate next year – especially the fence-sitters.
In that same vein, Kevin Hodgson provides a great reflection that should inspire the kind of educator I want to be, to work with, and to teach my son: Ten Reasons Why I Love #CLMOOC. The word that resonates for me in his 10 reasons is quite simply abundance – that sums of my experience with CLMOOC.
Sheri Edwards provided a great overview of the CLMOOC experience as well as an honest response to her experience which had both ups and downs in “#clmooc Reflection Open and Not.” I love that the idea of “open” is a thread that runs throughout her reflection, because it is such an important part of my CLMOOC experience. Not only was our community open and we were expected to share our work out in the open, there was also the simple idea that we needed to be open ourselves: open to ideas, open to challenges, open to learn, open to invent, and open to play.
I love and am more than a bit jealous of Simon Ensor’s reflection “Expressionism – WFT?” because it captures not just the ideas, but also the emotions of the #CLMOOC experience. The highlights for him (as I interpret his reflection) were expressions, connections, and the journey.
